Oleg Tsybulko
Born in 1984 in Glodeni in the Republic of Moldova. Graduated from the Ştefan Neaga Music College with a degree in piano performance in 2004. In 2004-2009 he studied with Professor Vera Slyusarevskaya at the Chișinău Academy of Music, Theatre and Fine Arts where he got a master’s degree in opera singing.
His repertoire includes the roles of Salieri in Rimsky-Korsakov’s Mozart and Salieri, Don Bartolo in Rossini’s Il Barbere di Sevilla, Sparafucile in Verdi’s Rigoletto, Prince Gremin in Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin, King René in Tchaikovsky’s Iolanta, Angelotti in Puccini’s Tosca, Malyuta and Sobakin in Rimsky-Korsakov’s The Tsar’s Bride, Publio in Mozart’s La clemenza di Tito.
In 2011 he became a member of the Bolshoi Theater Young Artist Program.
In November 2011 he gave his debut performance at the Bolshoi Theater in the role of Sarastro in Mozart’s Die Zauberfloete. He also he sang the part of Sparafucile in a concert performance of Verdi’s Rigoletto at The Tchaikovsky Concert Hall in Moscow in 2012. In March 2013 he made a successful role debut as Count Rodolfo in new production of Bellini’s La Sonnambula at the Bolshoi directed by Pier Luigi Pizzi and conducted by Enrique Mazzola.
From 2013-2016, he was a soloist at the Bolshoi Theatre Opera Company.
