An outstanding British conductor, and expert in Baroque and Classical operas. 
His opera engagements have taken him to the most prestigious opera houses and festivals in the world including the Salzburg (Austria) and Glyndebourne (UK) Festivals and the Bavarian (Germany) and the Bolshoi (Russia) Opera houses. The production of L'innocenza giustificata "The justified innocence" by Gluck is among the maestro’s more unusual repertoire.

With Musica Viva Orchestra he performed the Russian premier of Handel’s “Orlando” and Haydn’s "Il mondo della luna".
