Sergei Godin

Graduated from the Vladimir Music School of Performing Arts in 2004 and the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music in 2009.

In 2006-2017, he was a soloist of the Moscow State Academic Chamber Choir (artistic director and principal conductor Vladimir Minin). In 2017, was a soloist of the Pokrovsky Chamber Music Theater (Moscow).

Since 2018/2019 season, he has been a soloist of the Perm Opera. His repertoire includes: Lensky (Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin), Almaviva (Rossini’s Il Barbiere di Siviglia), Ferrando (Cosi fan tutte) and Basilio (Le nozze di Figaro) in operas by Mozart; Lord Arturo Bucklaw (Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor), tenor part in Honegger’s Jeanne d'Arc au bûcher and Schliesse mir die Augen beide. He took part in the concert performances of Mozart’s La clemenza di Tito and Idomeneo (the title role), and also sang tenor part in Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony and Mozart’s Requiem under the direction of Teodor Currentzis.

He was a guest soloist of the Croatian National Theatre (Zagreb). He collaborated with conductors such as Vladimir Andropov, Mikhail Pletnev, Vladimir Fedoseyev, Vladimir Spivakov, Wayne Marshall, and others.
